Jonah and the whale....

Here is Gabriel with his very own swimming pool! I bought this for entertainment for when my dad comes this weekend to watch the boys. Jaime spent lots of time & energy blowing this thing up (jaime has alot of hot air!). Gabriel has the best time jumping in and landing on his knees! Nicholas also loves to splash his little brother and get lots of water in his eyes!
Gabriel found these pair of goggles and puts them on just like Nicholas...oh summer! Gotta love it! We're cool as a cucumber!

Another Mr. & Mrs. Felan.....

Well, my brother in law finally tied the knot! The wedding went off without a hitch and Judith (the bride) looked soooo beautiful in her dress! It was a long day, but so very fun!! JJ & Judith got married in the same church as Jaime and I. It brought back so many memories of our day 8 years ago!! I couldn't believe it had been that long!! The wedding began at 2pm and the reception from 5-midnight! Boy, do those Hispanics know how to party!! Jaime gave his best man speech and we were all speechless so say the least. It was so very hard for Jaime to "let go" of his big brother, but he did an excellent job with his speech. I think JJ & Judith really took everything he said to heart!
So, now with another sister in law nearby, Jaime and I are looking forward to many more fun times with the new Mr. & Mrs....

It's a ZOO out there!!

Our friend Kim invited us to the zoo Friday. Her little girl, Ashley, is a friend of Gabriel's from school. We had a fun day looking at the monkeys, elephants, going on the merry go round and seeing the white alligator! Scary!
The kids were good dispite the heat! Lots of water and breaks helped us all get thru this Texas heat!

Aunts & Cousins Galore!!

Our weekend in San Antonio was fun & relaxing. But the special part was seeing my family. My Aunt Dorothy & cousin Laura (and her baby Eric) live in SA. My Aunt Maggie drove down from Austin to see us while we were in town! That was a huge surprise!!
They choose a great yummy place for lunch (Rocky's), which I hope to visit again! We all had a great time catching up and hope to see them all real soon!

Family Vacation time!

Our first family vacation of the year and we decided to go to Sea World. The boys had a wonderful time and so did we! Our first stop, was the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch resort right near Sea World.

The first day we arrived, we spent at the pool enjoying the waterslides, lazy river and the gorgeous indoor/outdoor pool. That night, we reserved a fire pit down at the pavillion and made smore's- yum!! Friday was spent at Sea World, where Gabriel & Nicholas enjoyed the dolphins, bulooga whales and of course Shamu! Most of the day was spent in the water, Nicholas & Jaime spending most of their time jumping waves at the wave pool!! On the way out of the parking lot, Gabriel kept saying "Bye Hamu, Bye Hamu" and waving his little hand at his new found friend.

Today, we traveled down to see the Alamo, the Magic Mirror maze, and the Rivercenter where we enjoyed a delicious Dairy Queen dipped cone down by the riverwalk. Our trip was short, but jam packed of good times, memories and lots of fun! We will go back soon to see our friend Shamu! Or as Gabriel calls him "Hamu"!

Happy 4th of July!

Our tradition every year is to meet our friends at the 4th of July parade here in Towne Center. We have been going every year since Nicholas was born. Rain or shine (but always hot) we watch the parade go by, grab lots of candy and make sure to drink lots of water! The parade this year was extremely long...2hrs long! Lots of firetrucks, town mayor, drill team & football players all throwing candy! We did manage to get almost as much as we do during Halloween. Nevertheless, the kids had a great time and were so tired after all the festivities. That evening, we always go to watch the fireworks light up the night sky. The kids love it and we love it too!

Happy Independence Day!
