White boys CAN jump!

Nicholas decided to try basketball with his best friend Grant. They play through the church league and has enjoyed it so far. Well, its not his favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning, but he actually has been trying and doing his best. In fact, on his first game, he shot the first basket! Santa brought him a basketball, so him and dad have to go out and practice!! Way to go Nick!

The yummy cookie! Nicholas had a blast decorating this cookie with homemade icing, sprinkles and red hots!!

Christmas w/Gigi & Papa D

My mom and Papa D arrived on Christmas Eve to join us for church. We had a chilly evening spent at candlelight church service. It was beautiful and having family here makes it much more enjoyable.

Our evening ended with Nicholas decorating Santa & Mrs. Claus' cookie to be set by the fireplace. Along with our reindeer food we sprinkled across the lawn. Gabriel even got into the Rudolph spirit! Then off to bed to wait for that jolly ol' man and his eight tiny reindeer!! Christmas morning arrived with Nicholas and Gabriel jumping on our bed telling us Santa took Mrs. Claus her cookie!!

We are blessed to have our family and friends in our life. Especially our health and love we share here!
