Beach fun!

During Easter weekend, Melissa & Brandy and I took the kids to Galveston for the day! It was a beautiful day..sunny & windy! Our friend Brooke came with us and had a fun time playing with the babies. The kids enjoyed lunch on the beach, building sandcastles, flying kites and jumping in and out of the water!!

Nick's 1st tooth!

My bday had another surprise! Nick lost his first tooth! This tooth had been wiggly for a couple of weeks now. Everytime I looked at him, he had his fingers in his mouth! During school, playing T-ball, watching TV. I am so glad it came out! Jaime had given him a pear to eat for a snack after school and BAM! Tooth out!

Tooth Fairy came last night and everyone was happy!!

Birthday weekend in San Antonio

My teacher friends took me away to San Antonio for a little fiesta! We had a blast walking on Riverwalk. Found lots of new places to eat, drink & be merry! Shopped ALOT and partied alot!! We stayed at the Westin Riverwalk and it was beautiful! Thanks Wiggy for the room!!

It happened to be Fiesta weekend, but the crowds were not that bad! We are hoping to make this an annual trip!

One year anniversary

My one yr anniversary from my surgery was April 23rd. I have so far lost 122lbs. I have not worn this size since I was in 9th grade!! I feel great and look forward to losing another 25 lbs for my goal weight!

I appreciate all the support & encouragement my friends and family have given me!! I feel great and am so glad I did this surgery! It has truly changed my life for the better!

Easter fun!

We had an Easter egg hunt with our cousins Alex, Christina & Paoula. JJ & his wife invited us over for a cookout and fun!! The kids had a blast looking for easter eggs and hitting each other over the head with cascaronies!!

Houston Rodeo! Yee-Haw!

We all took a trip down to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo during spring break this year. This was Gabriel's first time and he loved it! Nicholas showed him all around the baby pigs, chicks & ponies. While we were there, two new horses were born. So cute!

Nicholas and mommy went to the petting zoo- Nicholas loved petting all the animals and one goat had Nicholas' sweater down his throat! Good thing the sweater wasn't on him! It was a gorgeous afternoon and the kids loved eating funnel cake, hot dogs and nachos.
